To open a synced Realm, it is required to first authenticate with your Realm Object Server. This section will cover the basics and various options of authentication. While we do offer numerous authentication providers, it is strongly recommended that JWT authentication is used for production applications using the Realm Platform.
After logging in with a user, the Realm
syncuser is persisted so that data can continue to be accessed even in offline environments.
For prototyping and getting started, you may want to use one of our simple authentication providers. These include Username and Password, Nickname (no password), and Anonymous login. Find more details below:
